is submitted to an HSCU loan officer a response is normally
given within
one hour or less.

A: No. You must have the $50 deposit in

For convenience you may direct deposit your payroll checks directly to the Credit Union and have access to your funds through an ATM,
checks or our VISA debit check card. With direct deposit, you have 5 ATM transactions per month at no charge, each additional
transaction
is $1. Members have unlimited usage at no charge to
HSCU owned machines located in East TN Children's Hospital, St.
Mary's Hospital, and
on Broadway at our main office. You may also transact business via our 24-hour telephone teller, and on our web banking site at www.healthsystemscu.com.
Q: How can I reorder checks?
A: Liberty check reorders with no changes in name, address, or phone can be completed on-line
via our home page. Name, address and phone number changes must be completed in writing or in person.
Q: How can I get a
VISA debit check/ATM card?
A: Fill out an application and return it to the Credit Union office
for credit approval.

When does our Christmas Club money payout?
A: Your money is transferred to your HSCU checking account on the
first business
day of October. If you do not have a checking account
with HSCU, then the funds will be deposited into your regular share account.
Q: What is the difference between a 1st mortgage loan and
a home equity loan?
A: A 1st mortgage loan is used to purchase
a home or refinance
existing property owned by the member. The loan must be
secured by real estate meeting the policies, procedures,
and
documentation guidelines established by HSCU.

Q: How much do I qualify for?
A: Our mortgage loan officer can give you a general idea when
you submit a Residential
Mortgage Application along with supporting
documentation of your monthly income, monthly debt, and the
dollar amount you have for
a down payment and for closing costs.
Q: How do I apply?
A: Simply fill out a Residential Mortgage Loan Application and return
it with a copy of your most recent pay stub and a copy of your
signed contract if applicable. Please call ahead or schedule and
appointment
with an HSCU mortgage loan officer when returning
this application and supporting documents.
Q: How long does it take
to process a mortgage loan?
A: Ususally one hour for loan approval based only on the application
and credit history. Then
we proceed to the appraisal, etc. The funds
can usually be disbursed within 3 to 4 weeks.
Q: On what types of property
does HSCU lend?
A: The members' single family primary residence.
Q: Are your loans assumable and is there any prepayment
penalties?

Q: How can I report a card lost or stolen?
A: If your card has been lost or stolen, call 1-800-654-7728
to report the card missing.

Q: How do I dispute a charge on my credit card statement?
A: All billing
disputes and inquiries must be submitted in

I change my billing address?

Q: How can I obtain a personal identification number (PIN)
for my credit card in order to access cash through

A: Each credit card is automatically assigned a PIN at the
time of issue. If your PIN as been lost or

The Credit Union does not have access to existing PINs.
